William Wallace's (Mel Gibson) and Murron's (Catherine McCormack) screen-matched wedding tartan from director and star Mel Gibson's Braveheart. The threading imperfections screen-match this wedding tartan the Priest (Robert Paterson) wrapped around William's and Murron's hands as he blessed their marriage union.

Braveheart received 10 Academy Award& reg; nominations and won five, including Best Picture and Best Director. The film also generated a great deal of tourism for Scotland and piqued interest in Scottish history.

This red, black, and green wool tartan features a sewn straw "M" and "W" for Murron and William with a sewn straw arabesque design to resemble flowers. This tartan exhibits intentionally frayed edges and loose thread from production use. Dimensions: (extended) 96.75 cm x 18 cm x 0.75 cm (38" x 7" x 0.25")
