BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Master Set of VFX Storyboards and Hand-drawn Ridleygrams

A master set of visual effects storyboards and hand-drawn Ridleygrams from the production of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

This lot features 79 printed storyboards contained within 20 clear envelopes in a black lever arch folder. Each storyboard includes a scene photo, detailed handwritten notes and a red dot, meaning they were approved by Ridley. Among the sequences depicted are the opening montage cityscape; Leon's (Brion James) interrogation; Deckard's (Harrison Ford) meeting with Rachel (Sean Young); and Deckard's climactic fight with Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer). On the back of one of these printed storyboards, labelled FX 14, is an original Ridleygram, hand-drawn in pencil.

The lot also includes a yellow folder containing two original Ridleygram storyboards, hand-drawn in pencil on a piece of blue paper; several storyboard transparencies; three pages of printed storyboards depicting Deckard's spinner journey to the Tyrell Corporation headquarters, the last page of which features an original Ridleygram hand-drawn in black pen on the back; nine pages of handwritten FX notes; and miscellaneous printed notes. Dimensions: 44.5 cm x 36 cm x 6 cm (17 1/2" x 14 1/4" x 2 1/2")

Estimate: GBP 10000 - 20000 M
