EMPTY NEST (1988-1995) - Rich Weaver Collection: Estelle Getty's Personal Director's Chair, Crew Jacket, and Seven Scripts - Estelle Getty's personal director's chair, crew jacket, and seven scripts from the comedy-drama television series Empty Nest. Getty kept this chair at home in her TV room and used it when she watched episodes of "The Golden Girls" and other series.

This lot comes from the collection of Estelle Getty's personal assistant and friend, Rich Weaver, and includes one director's chair with a wooden frame, a blue canvas seat, and a blue canvas chairback labeled "Estelle Getty"; a brown leather and black wool crew jacket featuring the series title and the name "Estelle"; and seven final draft scripts from the Season 6 episodes "Bye-Bye, Baby. . .Hello Part One," "Bye-Bye, Baby. . .Hello Part Two," "Mom's The Word," "Half That Jazz," "Lordy, Lordy, Landlordy," "Best Friends," and "Absence Makes The Nurse Grow Weirder." These scripts feature various revision pages on colored paper, include shooting schedules, some handwritten notes and annotations, and are printed on recycled paper. Also included are two cast and crew photos from the series. The script exhibits minor stains and fold creases along the edges, the chairback exhibits minor stains as well.
