AMELIA EARHART, Pioneering American Aviator.
Autographed Book Signed, 'Amelia Earhart,' on the front endpaper of 'The Fun of It, Random Records of My Own Flying and of Women in Aviation', Brewer, Warren & Putnam, New York, 1932, 218 pages, 31 photos and illustrations, missing the small Earhart record that normally is found in back pocket of the book, 8.25' x 5.5', Choice Very Fine. Cloth, hardbound cover with white lettering, intact spine. Pages are very clean. 2.25' long signature in black fountain pen. Outstanding photos of Earhart and friends, along with stories about such female aviators as Louise Thaden, Ruth Law, Ruth Nichols, Harriet Quimby, and Anne Lindbergh. (She overlooks Bessie Coleman and other Black women pilots, but there were few accounts of these pioneers of the early 1900s.) A rare opportunity to collect a signature and recollections of one of the 20th centuryÕs biggest historical figures.
