BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Hubcap from Deckard's (Harrison Ford) Sedan

Deckard's (Harrison Ford) sedan hubcap from Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. A group of street vandals ripped a hubcap from Deckard's parked sedan while he was seated inside the car. This component originates from the collection of vehicle customiser Gene Winfield, who worked alongside visual futurist Syd Mead in creating the vehicles for the movie. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

Made of resin, the disc-shaped concavo-convex hubcap is painted silver and features oval indentations around its edge. A ridged oblong protuberance at its centre has dual screws that were used by Winfield to connect the hubcap to the sedan. They now attach the piece to a wooden base on the reverse. The lot exhibits minor signs of wear from production use and age, including stains, scuffs and fissures, but it remains in good condition. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Winfield. Dimensions: 46 cm x 46 cm x 7 cm (18" x 18" x 2 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 4000 - 8000 M
