ARMAGEDDON (1998) - Spacesuit Boots, Glove Connection Rings and Spacesuit Sunglasses

Spacesuit boots, glove connection rings and spacesuit sunglasses from Michael Bay's sci-fi disaster film Armageddon. Characters including Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis) and A.J. Frost (Ben Affleck) wore this style of boot while on the surface of the asteroid they were tasked with destroying. The boots are a pair of modified Vans covered in dress-up components and a heavy-weave, nylon-like material (both labelled "Size 7").

The glove connectors are from the NASA "ACES" suits worn as the crew boarded the shuttles. They are made of milled aluminium anodised in dark blue and were created by Global Effects. The sunglasses have silver coloured legs and mauve-tinted lenses. The right lens is cracked and has been repaired with clear tape, and some of the silver paint has faded. Dimensions (each wrist ring): 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 5 cm (4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2")
