BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Holden's (Morgan Paull) Functional Office Model Miniature

A functional model miniature of Holden's (Morgan Paull) office from Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Holden's office memorably featured in the film's opening cityscape montage as the camera moved towards the pyramidical Tyrell Corporation Building. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

The miniature is made of moulded resin, painted dark grey and glued to a wooden board. It features four tables, with a ceiling fan positioned above each table. The fans are connected to overlying plastic cogs, and a cylindrical metal rod at the rear of the piece turns the cogs and spins the fans in unison.

Some of the tabletops feature a Voight-Kampff machine, and next to the tables are dark high-backed chairs. The miniature displays further intricate detailing, including ridged pillars, cubicle walls and beams. Some fan blades and chairs are absent from the miniature, while other elements have been sympathetically restored. The lot displays minor signs of wear, including rusting to its metal components. Dimensions: 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 2 cm (12" x 12" x 3/4")

Contains mechanical components; see mechanical notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: GBP 10000 - 20000 M
