<B>Lot of 8 Issues of <I>The Daily Gazetteer</B></I></B></I> <B>London 1741.</B></I> All issues four pages (except issue 1843 which is two pages), includes issue numbers 1824, 1843, 1855, 1863, 1865, 1867, 1868, 1869, from dates August 12, 1741 through November 30, 1741, printed for T. Cooper, London. <I>The Daily Gazetteer</B></I> was one of England's first daily newspapers. These issues contain several interesting stories of the day including the declaration of war by the King of Sweden against the Czar of Muscovy, marriage announcements, advertisements, etc. These issues can be quite infectious to read and it is interesting to see what was noteworthy in 1741. All issues are in very good condition considering the inferior quality of the paper of the day.
