BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Geoff Hutchins Collection: Production Clapperboard

An "A" Unit clapperboard from the production of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner. This lot comes from the family of Blade Runner archivist Geoff Hutchins.

The clapperboard features an acrylic slate, a wooden clapper, and a plastic hinge with metal screws. Red adhesive tape is applied to the edge and face of the slate, displaying the film title with the letter "A". This indicates that the clapperboard was used for primary footage, as opposed to B-roll footage. The slate exhibits the names of Scott and director of photography Jordan Cronenweth, and an incomplete date displayed on fastener strips confirms that the clapperboard was used in 1981. The lot exhibits signs of wear commensurate with its age and production use, including scratches, stains and missing characters. Dimensions: 28.5 cm x 20 cm x 2 cm (11 1/2" x 8" x 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 10000 - 20000 M
