Excellent condition - 4.75" barrel - A tribute to Hank Williams Sr. - retains 97% nickel with mild milky areas - highly polished blue unfluted cylinder - Hollywood grips in excellent condition - left Scrimshawed "HW" - right scrimshawed with music note - front blade & rear frame notch sights - crisp markings and engraving - Your Cheating Heart on left barrel - Cold Cold Heart on right barrel - I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry on topstrap - music notes on left fame - broken heart on right frame - I Saw the Light on backstrap - Lovesick Blues on butt - behind hammer reads: Born 9-17-23 Died 1-1-53 - gold inlay on cylinder Kawlinga Jumbalaya- Hey Good Looking on ejector rod housing - yr. mfg: early 1980's - Colt Archives indicate that this gun is listed in the Special Serial Number book. Records indicate the base configuration was as a Model P1940 S1 (special) before it was sent to the Colt Custom Shop. Records indicate that it was returned to the Colt Factory on August 23, 1985.
