STAR WARS: ORIGINAL TRILOGY (1977 - 1983) - Anthony Daniels Collection: Yamakatsu Hanging Sign and C-3PO "Instant Stained Glass"

A Yamakastu hanging sign and C-3PO "Instant Stained Glass" for the promotion of Richard Marquand's Return of the Jedi and George Lucas' A New Hope. The hanging sign, produced by Yamakatsu in 1983, features an image of C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and Wicket (Warwick Davis) with the word "Welcome" on one side and a large "STOP" on the other. Accompanying this is an unlicenced hand-painted window decoration of C-3PO sealed in its original packaging. Dimensions (Stained Glass): 28 cm x 20.5 cm (11" x 8")

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first appeared in the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in all Star Wars feature films to date.
