STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE (1977) - Anthony Daniels Collection: Unused Vintage Lyons Maid Masks and Vintage Deeko Napkins

Vintage Lyons Maid masks and vintage Deeko napkins from the promotion of George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. These three rare and unused C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) masks were distributed for free with a selection of Lyons Maid ice lollies, as part of an early promotional collaboration which pre-dates the film's 1977 release. Also included are 16 unused vintage napkins, made in 1977, which are kept in opened plastic packaging and each feature an image of C-3PO with R2-D2 and a TIE fighter. The masks have horizontal fold lines from prior storage. Dimensions (each mask): 21 cm x 19 cm (8 1/4" x 7 1/2")

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels, best known as loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. He first played the role in 1977 and is the only actor to appear in every Star Wars feature film to date.
