Note other lots in the auction may close on June 29th or July 1st. An Air Force One model miniature from Roland Emmerich's sci-fi action film Independence Day. U.S. President Thomas Whitmore (Bill Pullman) narrowly escaped the alien attack on Washington D.C. in his plane, Air Force One. This hand-painted resin model with plastic, foam, and metal details features a detailed cockpit canopy opening, four engines, and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" printed alongside the presidential seal and Air Force insignias. Wiring is concealed beneath a detachable panel on the bottom. The miniature is in fair overall condition with extensive scrapes, markings, and other signs of production use and age, including four detached wing and engine pieces that were reattached with glue.
