Lot 722 - Original Double Handled Lidded Boston Bean Pot. Late 1800's out of Vermont. Made of stoneware, exterior glazed with brown Albany slip and white Bristol slip. Interior glazed with brown Albany slip. Wheel thrown with applied, molded ear-shaped handles. The white Bristol glazed lid has a knoblike handle. Pot is 7" tall with a diameter of 8 1/2". The lid is intact but has typical chips and crazing normal for a bean pot over 100 years old. The bottom is marked with the number 4.<BR>Estimate : $ 35.00 - 60.00 Weight : 6 lb<BR>Start : $ 10.00
