1930 Buffalo Nickel. A nice russet tint radiates from this lustrous piece. The devices were struck with such great force by the dies imparting all design elements including most of the central detail above the Indian's braid. Mintage began to trail off significantly in 1930 with the onset of an economic slowdown. The 1930 issue is much scarcer than 1929. (#3969)
