Walter Sobchak's (John Goodman) briefcase with Larry Sellers' (Jesse Flanagan) screen-matched homework from Joel and Ethan Coen's The Big Lebowski. Production distressing on the homework screen-matches to when Sobchak pulled it from his briefcase to confront the teenager for robbing The Dude (Jeff Bridges).

This lot consists of a leather-bound briefcase with metal locks and fabric-lined interior pockets; an essay titled "The Louisiana Purchase" and authored by "Larry Sellers" handwritten in black ink on hole-punched paper with corrections in red ink; and two L.A. Life Weekend newspapers from March 6, 1998 featuring stories about the film. The briefcase exhibits moulding, tape residue, and staining, and the homework exhibits intentional liquid staining and burnt edges. Dimensions: (largest) 45.75 cm x 35.75 cm x 10.25 cm (18" x 14" x 4")
