Sagot was the principal poster dealer in Paris during the 1890s and this, his first poster catalogue, launched the poster craze of that epoch. A total of 2,233 posters are offered , with wonderful commentary on many of them. Prices range mostly from 1 franc to 10 francs (a few maquettes are priced as high as 100 francs). Cover by ChÈret, who is represented by 569 of his posters for sale. 1 of only 550 printed copies.
