THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS - They Might Be Giants' "Boss of Me" Video Rocket Plane Model Miniature and Production Ephemera

A rocket plane model miniature and ephemera from the production of They Might Be Giants' "Boss of Me" music video. "Boss of Me" was used as the theme song for the series Malcolm in the Middle. In the video, Malcolm's (Frankie Muniz) father Hal (Bryan Cranston) held a rocket plane containing miniature versions of They Might Be Giants members.

This lot consists of a yellow and red construction paper-covered styrofoam plane model with a clear plastic-covered cockpit inset with a paper cut-out of TMBG member John Linnel; a cardboard and wood rocket painted purple, red, and orange and attached to the plane with glue and twine; 43 colour photos of the band created for SFX inserts; four behind-the-scenes colour photos; a three-page printed story outline; and a 25-page black-and-white printed storyboard featuring handwritten annotations. The lot exhibits discolouration on some of the photos, a cracked wing on the plane, and grime. Dimensions: (largest) 68.75 cm x 53.5 cm x 29.25 cm (27" x 21" x 11.5")
