For an exhibition of his own work, Gachons gives us a long-haired woman watering some flowers at a fountain. Gachons was a symbolist painter who took a very personal mystical and religious direction in his work. As with several others in this series, this poster was produced by pochoir (stencil) colors over letter press. Gachons also has the distinction of being the sole artist to benefit from the exposure of two exhibitions of his work at the Salon des Cent.
