An 8' x 7' oval collage photo depicting President Abraham Lincoln and the members of the 38th Congress: Senators and members of the House of Representatives who voted to enact the 13th Amendment outlawing slavery, Extremely Fine. Lincoln is shown at bottom center, and Hannibal Hamlin, who was Vice President when Congress passed the Amendment in January of 1865, at top center. Speaker of the House Schuyler Colfax is at center. Printed along the lower edge is 'Entered According to Act of Congress in the year 1865 by Powell & Co...New York. The image is mounted to card stock, for an overall size of 13.5' x 10.5'.
