ELTON JOHN - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy Bally Pinball Machine

A vintage pinball machine themed around Elton John's album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy created in 1977 by Bally Manufacturing. The machine displays detailed and colourful designs by Alan Aldridge, showing artwork of Elton John inspired by his Pinball Wizard character from Ken Russell's rock opera Tommy.

The machine is mostly made of wood, with metal legs, a glass pane over the table, plastic paddle buttons, and a metal pinball shooter. The table features glowing bumper corners, flashing pop bumpers, and four-player capability. An LED screen on the backglass section displays the score, and the table plays several musical sound effects. This particular example is a home model meaning there is no coin door present on it.

The lot is labelled as model number "614-2000", with the serial number "3828". It is powered by a UK mains plug, and the lights are controlled via five small red switches at the back. The lot displays minor scuffing around the edges, and scratches on the metal. Dimensions: 127 cm x 66 cm x 154.5 cm (50" x 26" x 60 3/4")
