This celebrated trademark had its origin in 1921, when Mr. Bel, a cheese maker, thought of the title "The Laughing Cow.” Three years later, he had Rabier design a logo–and it was put on everything produced from Fromageries Bel from then on. Rabier specialized in animal caricature and was employed by the Halles Centrales de Paris. This is the German version.
