TROY (2004) - Achilles' (Brad Pitt) Bronze Sword - Achilles' (Brad Pitt) bronze sword from Wolfgang Petersen's mythical epic Troy. Achilles wielded his sword throughout the film, using it during his dispatching of Boagrius (Nathan Jones), in his battles against the Trojan Apollonians, and in his duel with Hector (Eric Bana).

This sword features a curved, leaf-shaped bronze blade decorated with inlays extending from its black solid-cast resin handle. There are holes at each corner of the grip, giving the illusion of rivets, and a ridge runs down the center of the blade to just below the tip. Also included is a bespoke display stand, made in the production's workshop, which features a marble-like stone base, with the film's title artwork painted in gold-color. Green paint has been applied to the handle and bottom of the blade to create the appearance of a verdigris patina, and the weapon has been intentionally distressed to look battle-worn. It exhibits additional signs of wear from use and age, including scuffing to the finish of the sword and base. Dimensions: (displayed) 8.25" x 5.25" x 30" (21 cm x 13 cm x 76 cm)

Blade was dulled by production.

Estimate: $15,000 - 30,000
