1854 $1 Gold Indian. This example is quite pleasing with good luster and splashes of almost original light patina on each side with the centers sharper than average (1854 is much more clearly struck, as a rule, than the 1855 Type 2 gold dollar). The broad expanse of golden frost is what makes this so important, and therefore scarce. (#7531)
