Uncolored prints, both approx. 4.5” x 7” images: 1. 1862 print of the battle between the Monitor and the Merrimack was engraved by O. Pelton, and printed by Hurlbut, Williams & Co., Connecticut. Features the clash between the ironclads, with names of the other ships involved in the engagement. Heavy staining along margins. 2. The Port Royal print was engraved by J.C. McRae, expressly for “Abbotts Civil War,” New York. Light toning, beautiful imagery. Perfect for framing and display. (2 pieces)
