WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT (1988) - Betty Boop Wardrobe Malfunction Animation Cel

An animation cel of Betty Boop from the production of Robert Zemeckis' crime comedy Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Betty waitressed at the nightclub where Jessica Rabbit performed.

This animation cel features the black-and-white Betty suffering a wardrobe malfunction as she adjusts her garter, exposing her nipples. This notorious image - long thought to be an urban myth - was slipped in by animators for a single frame in the theatrical release of the film, but it was subsequently edited out of other releases. It is hand-painted onto an acetate sheet, with an artist's signature, "23/8" and "B 19" handwritten at the bottom. Dimensions: 31 cm x 41.5 cm (12 1/4" x 16 1/4")

Sold without copyright; see copyright notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: GBP 5000 - 10000 M
