This lot comes from the collection of chief articulation engineer Stuart Ziff. It consists of a white plastic cup with abstract designs in a raised gold-color adhesive and a hole in the bottom with a small piece of pipe adhered to it. The figure features a punched cardback with a price sticker and an image of Ree-Yees with his mug. The mug exhibits scuffing and wear to the applied design, and the figure exhibits corner denting to the cardback and a yellowed bubble. Dimensions: (largest) 9" x 9" x 2" (23 cm x 23 cm x 5.25 cm)

This lot comes from the collection of effects pioneer Stuart Ziff. Upon moving to Edlund's Entertainment Effects Group (later renamed Boss Film Studios) in 1983, Ziff headed the 50-person "Ghost Shop" responsible for the groundbreaking demonic special effects in Ivan Reitman's comedy classic Ghostbusters. Numerous ghosts and spectral phenomena created for the picture, including the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man's costume, immediately landed in the American pop culture lexicon, where they've remained for nearly four decades. Propstore is proud to offer never-beforeseen production materials from Stuart Ziff's pioneering work on Ghostbusters, alongside other one-of-a-kind memorabilia from his 40-plus-year career as a Hollywood pioneer.
