STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE (1977) - Replica Darth Vader (David Prowse) Lightsaber Hilt Made From Real-World Components - A replica Darth Vader (David Prowse) lightsaber hilt made using the real-world components as used for George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. Many of the props in the first Star Wars film, especially the lightsaber hilts, were created using found objects creatively combined together.

This lightsaber consists of the metal handle of a Micro Precision Products (MPP) 3-cell microflash with an original MPP clamp and replica shroud, attached black plastic T-track segments as grips, and a switch plate made from a calculator display. Of note, the red LED in the clamp is one of two Vader saber variations seen in the film. The finish exhibits some scratching from the age of the components the lightsaber is built from. Dimensions: 11" x 2.5" x 2.5" (28 cm x 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm)

Estimate: $5,000 - 10,000
