TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (1991) - Stan Winston's Personal Light-up T-800 Endoskull Crew Gift

A light-up T-800 endoskull gifted to Stan Winston for his work on longtime collaborator James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Production gifted endoskulls on customised bases created by Winston's own Stan Winston Studio to key members of the creative team. Winston's groundbreaking effects and makeup for the film earned him a rare double victory at the 1992 Academy Awards& reg;, solidifying him amongst the greatest effects technicians in film history.

This chrome-plated, two-piece, hollow resin skull is painted silver-colour on the underside. It is inset with two red eyes designed to illuminate via a black toggle switch beneath the skull. The interior is filled loosely with red and black wires and a battery pack. Also included is a black resin stand base affixed with a metal plaque engraved "This Endoskull Has Been Specially Built for Stan Winston." The skull exhibits discolouration on its underside and the base exhibits flaking paint, exposing the resin. Dimensions: 25.5 cm x 15.25 cm x 23 cm (10" x 6" x 9")
