STARGATE (1994) - Death Glider Model Miniature

A death glider model miniature from Roland Emmerich's Stargate. Death gliders flew across the desert from Ra's (Jaye Davidson) pyramid to attack the Ancient Egyptian tribe as punishment for helping Colonel Jonathan "Jack" O'Niel's (Kurt Russell) unit. Following the film, Stargate expanded into a much larger franchise with a popular television series and its multiple spin-off series, novels, comics, and video games.

This lot consists of a metallic blues, greys and shades of purple fibreglass crescent-shaped alien gunship with a pair of resin fibreglass staff cannons and external top rods, and a half-body painted resin model miniature "Jaffa" pilot with red acrylic rhinestone eyes on a wooden rod to sit in the cockpit. The staff cannons attach though black fibreglass and magnetic removable panels along the top. This ship is rigged for hanging by four metal eye hooks on the top of the ship's body. This lot exhibits minor chipping material on the staff cannons and broken feathers on the Jaffa helmet. Dimensions: 212 cm x 85 cm x 51 cm (83.5" x 33.5" x 20")
