1896 Morgan Dollar. About as close to flawless as can be expected, this robust MS66 shines. Extra crisp detail on all relief portions as well, from the strong blow given by the Philadelphia Mint dies. Most P-mint dollars, with the exception of 1901, are sharply struck. The surfaces are toned splendid amber brown with blue iridescence hugging the rims and a little purplish tinge to the color on the reverse. A minor toning streak left of the eagle. (#7240)
