1892-CC Morgan Dollar. While some CC-mint Morgan Dollars (such as the 1882-1884 issues) are readily obtainable at the MS64 grade level, the 1892-CC is not. This is not to say that Mint State examples are unduly rare, but, rather, that most are noticeably bagmarked, some might say downright ugly. With smooth surfaces that are free of singularly distracting blemishes, the present example is among the finest '92-CC Dollars of its grade that we have offered this year. The eye appeal of the beautifully toned surfaces is further enhanced by splashes of reddish amber and blue around the devices at the rims. The sharp strike is also worthy of praise; only the central regions show any softness in the design. (#7214)
