Falcucci may be more familiar to us for his high-octane automotive images than for his work in the travel arena, but that in no way excuses us for not giving his sun-sated mastery its due, especially when he presents his subject with a less-than-mechanical sexiness. And though there’s nothing overtly slatternly about this lean, bronzed temptress, her-half-masked invitation certainly stirs one’s desire to get to this Riviera resort with extreme expediency. Juan-les-Pins’ soft sand beach, that imperceptibly merges with Antibes, has been a fashionable destination since the mid-1920s when it was promoted by American millionaire, Frank Jay Gould.
