Not to sound like a piggy male, but "Hubba-hubba!” Unfortunately, no trace of the pre-Castro musical-theater "Temptation” could be found, but the pelt-wrapped Maria de los Angeles Santana, a name that could only belong to "Cuba’s Biggest Star,” certainly heats things up with her smoldering sensuality. And as she tramples what was no doubt once fertile ground beneath her stiletto, it’s not a stretch to imagine that this was some form of steamy Garden of Eden song and dance. And how sweet is it that all of this provocation is taking place at the Caldron Theater. Santana, though no longer a scene stealing sexpot, is alive and well, a reigning Grande Dame in the Cuban theater scene.
