Who knew that drinking alcohol was so good for you? Or maybe it’s a singular case applying exclusively to Fernet Branca–the bitter tonic developed by Dr. Fernet, a noted herbalist, and put on the market by the Branca Brothers in 1845. It’s not often you see the words ”youth” and eternal health” being bandied about for a liqueur. Regardless of whether or not the digestive miracle is as healthful for the tippler is most likely a claim best left to personal research. Dalpozzo’s stylish Art Deco overview of the product, however, leaves no question as to Fernet Branca’s artistic voracity.
