SERENITY (2005) - Jayne Cobb's (Adam Baldwin) Costume with Screen-Matched Jacket - Jayne Cobb's (Adam Baldwin) costume with screen-matched jacket from Joss Whedon's sci-fi adventure film Serenity. Cobb wore his costume when he and the crew attempted a heist, and when escaping from Reavers.

This lot consists of a faded blue fabric graphic T-shirt with a screen-printed graphic on the chest marked "J Hero" on the collar; a green zipper jacket purposely distressed by production to appear battle worn labeled "Jayne Hero"; light green cargo pants labeled "Jayne Hero Non Harpoon"; a black leather ammo belt with a brown leather knife sheath, ammunition holders with three stunt magazine clips decorated with various small metal charms and trophies Jayne likely gathered from his victims over the years; an additional brown leather belt with brass-color metal studs; a black leather double-buckle wristband; fingerless leather gloves; a shoulder sash complete with a metal buckle for securing the stunt rubber Heckler and Koch MP5K; and one original wardrobe tag from production. The jacket is screen-matched not only to the heist scene, due to two upper right shoulder holes matching from heist, but also also to the Reaver escape scenes: both the right cuff cut-edging and rim blackened weathering matches, and the back left hem distressing/discoloration pattern also matches from when Jayne hangs off the back of the Flying Mule. The costume shows minor wear due to production use and charms falling off the belt.
