Printed poem about the 509th First Atomic Air Force on which 5 crew members have signed their names and positions.

Printed Manuscript Signed by Paul Tibbets (pilot), Tom Ferebere (bombardier), Theodore J. Van Kirk (navigator), George R. Canon (tail gunner), and Richard H. Nelson (radio). Entitled 'First Atomic Strike Force' and authored by 'Anonymous' it is comprised of two 8-line stanzas of rhyming verse beginnin 'Into the air the secret rose / Where theyÕre going, nobody knows' and ending 'We should have been home a month or more / For the 509th is winning the war.' The printed words are surrounded by a decorative raised filigree gold panel. Choice Mint.
