GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014) - Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) Light-Up "Star-Lord" Helmet - Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) light-up "Star-Lord" helmet from James Gunn's sci-fi comedy Guardians of the Galaxy. Star-Lord wore his signature partial helmet throughout the film as he fought alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy helped set the stage for Phase Two of the MCU, earning numerous Academy Award& reg;, Grammy& reg;, and Billboard& reg; nominations for its groundbreaking effects and 70s and 80s-heavy soundtrack. Quill's Star-Lord helmet is among the most recognizable accessories from this intergalactic success, which was the third-highest-grossing film of 2014.

This foam and suede-padded, two-piece cast urethane resin helmet is hand-painted with a variety of different finishes to resemble metal, inset with two-toned red (on the exterior) and blue (on the interior) lenses, and applied with grid-patterned acrylic sheets on the front as well as small segments of metal tubing, screws, and mesh throughout. Black neoprene covers the neck and a black elastic strap is affixed across the top. The pieces are secured together with powerful magnets concealed on the interior.

Labeled with stickers marked "HERO 3" and "3," the helmet's interior also conceals a 9V battery-powered switch which illuminates LEDs inside the lenses and a red LED light on the right side when flicked. It is intentionally lightly distressed to appear well-worn with scuffs and scratches throughout, and a tongue piece designed to be concealed when the helmet's pieces are connected has broken off to the front on one side.

Contains electronics; see electronics notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: $100,000 - 200,000
