THE KARATE KID PART II (1986) - Daniel LaRusso's (Ralph Macchio) Screen-Matched Miyagi-Do Kimono - Daniel LaRusso's screen-matched (Ralph Macchio) Miyagi-Do kimono from John G. Avildsen's sports sequel The Karate Kid Part II. This kimono screen-matches to when LaRusso and Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) were seated together for Kumiko's (Tamlyn Tomita) fan dance.

Following the global success of Avildsen's The Karate Kid, a sequel was immediately produced to deepen the mythology around LaRusso's iconic, quotable mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The Karate Kid II was among 1986's most profitable films, securing an extensive life for the beloved franchise and popularizing Japanese-inspired aesthetics in a generation of American viewers.

This red polyester-blend kimono with black motifs and a matching attached belt is embroidered on the front and back with gold-color Miyagi-Do patches depicting a sun setting behind a tree. The kimono exhibits some fraying and minor staining from production wear and age.
