THE MUMMY RETURNS (2001) - Bracelet of Anubis Chest

A Bracelet of Anubis chest from Stephen Sommers' action-adventure sequel The Mummy Returns. After experiencing visions of the Bracelet of Anubis, Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) and her husband Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) discovered the item in a chest hidden inside an Ancient Egyptian temple.

The chest is made primarily of resin embedded with bronze powder with metal components, and is intentionally tarnished to appear ancient. It is decorated with ornate Egyptian hieroglyphs and features a handle on each side, with an embedded sun-shaped static lock on the front. The interior features a wicker lining, two braided cords hinging the lid to the base, and magnetic corners which secure the lid when shut.

Accompanying the chest is a replica of the Scorpion King's (Dwayne Johnson) Bracelet of Anubis. Made of gold-painted resin and metal, it features a figure of a scorpion with six legs that hinge up when the sides are opened, and a foam-padded lining. The bracelet displays paint wear and splits in the two rear scorpion legs, while the chest exhibits glue remnants on the interior, and its wicker lining has begun to unstick. Dimensions (box): 34.5 cm x 45 cm x 22 cm (13 1/2" x 17 3/4" x 8 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 8000 - 16000 M
