CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER (2011) - Captain America's (Chris Evans) SFX Bullet-hit USO Shield

Captain America's (Chris Evans) SFX bullet-hit USO shield from Joe Johnston's superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger. "Cap" used two shields: the first, a USO prop shield he used during his promotional tour; the second, a high-tech Vibranium shield that boomeranged and repelled bullets. He wielded his first shield when he rescued Bucky Barnes' (Sebastian Stan) unit from the Hydra factory, where he first came face to face with Schmidt (Hugo Weaving).

This resin shield is a bullet-hit special effects version hand-painted red, white, and blue with gold-coloured vinyl fabric covering the back. To appear battle worn, it features intentional distressing, including scratches, dents, and a bullet hole in the top right corner. The shields handle straps have been removed from the back, leaving four threaded bolts. It exhibits interior scuffing from production use and the remains of an exploded SFX squib inside the bullet hole, its red metal wires feeding out the back. Dimensions: 63.5 cm x 49 cm x 7 cm (25" x 19 1/4" x 2 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 7500 - 15000 M
