JURASSIC PARK (1993) - Brachiosaurus Reference Eye in Socket Display

A brachiosaurus reference eye display from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. A brachiosaurus grazed from the tree where Lex (Ariana Richards) and Tim Murphy (Joseph Mazzello) fell asleep with Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill).

This ornately detailed brachiosaurus eye with a sculpted brown and black core, latticework detailing, and a dental acrylic coating was created by key artist Rob Hinderstein at Stan Winston Studio. During production, dinosaur eyes were inserted into hand-painted and hand-textured resin and foam socket displays to demonstrate potential eye movements to Spielberg. The eye is now permanently installed in the display and remains static. This display exhibits exposed foam from handling. Dimensions: 19 cm x 19 cm x 8.25 cm (7.5" x 7.5" x 3.25")
