JURASSIC PARK (1993) - Velociraptor Reference Eye in Socket Display

A velociraptor reference eye from the production of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park in a socket display. Velociraptors watched game warden Robert Muldoon (Bob Peck) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) attempt to manually recharge the power grid to Jurassic Park.

This ornately detailed raptor eye with a sculpted green core, black latticework and red spot detailing, and a dental acrylic coating was created by key artist Rob Hinderstein at Stan Winston Studio. During production, the eye was inserted into a hand-painted and hand-textured fibreglass and foam raptor socket display to demonstrate the dinosaurs' potential eye movements to Spielberg. The eye is now permanently installed in the display and remains static. The display exhibits minor chipping, cracking, and grime from age and handling. Dimensions: 16.75 cm x 15.25 cm x 6.5 cm (6.5" x 6" x 2.5")

Estimate: GBP 5000 - 10000 OMEGA
