JAMES BOND: LICENCE TO KILL (1989) - James Bond's (Timothy Dalton) Stunt Walther PPK Pistol

James Bond's (Timothy Dalton) stunt Walther PPK pistol from John Glen's Licence to Kill. Bond used his signature Walther PPK throughout the film during his pursuit of drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi). The second and final of the films to star Dalton as Bond, Licence to Kill featured a notably darker tone than previous Bond films, a controversial departure in style that divided fans and critics initially, but has since been called ahead of its time, a precursor to the darker Daniel Craig films.

Moulded from a real Walther PPK with serial number "348075K" that was rented to the production, this rubber stunt pistol featuring serial number "348075K" is painted black with brown grips and a small plastic magazine. It is hand-marked "S" for Stembridge Gun Rentals, the armourers from whom this pistol was originally acquired for the film, in black marker near the trigger.

Also included are a copy of the original Stembridge rental paperwork listing a PPK with serial number "348075K" and dated "Aug 29 1988"; a letter regarding Stembridge's armourers from production supervisor Anthony Waye to Stembridge head Syd Stembridge typewritten on stationery labelled "License Revoked," the film's original title; a corresponding "License Revoked" envelope; a Certificate of Authenticity from Atlantic Traders Group; and a colour-printed production still of Bond wielding his pistol. The pistol exhibits some chipping throughout. Dimensions: 18 cm x 11.5 cm x 3.25 cm (7" x 4.5" x 1.25")

Ownership may be restricted in some countries; see replica firearm notice in Buyer's Guide.
