JAMES BOND: THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977) - Ken Adam Signed Production Design Sketches of Liparus Linear Induction Craft

Original design artwork of a linear induction craft by acclaimed production designer Ken Adam, from the production of Lewis Gilbert's Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. Induction craft were used to transport Karl Stromberg's (Curt Jürgens) henchmen around his Liparus supertanker.

The sketches are hand-drawn on a single sheet of paper and show early iterations of the induction craft from various angles. Some of the craft are depicted transporting people. Adam has handwritten "Study Linear Induction Craft" and signed the piece.

It exhibits creasing and some fraying around the edges. Dimensions: 57 cm x 42 cm x (22 1/2" x 16 1/2")

Sold without copyright; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Additional Provenance: The lot was originally sold in the "Design of the Times" auction at Sotheby's in March 2003.

Estimate: GBP 3000 - 6000 DAGGER DELTA
