INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) - Russell Casse's (Randy Quaid) Biplane Model Miniature

Russell Casse's (Randy Quaid) biplane model miniature from Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. Russell crop-dusted a farmer's field from his personal biplane.

This balsa wood Boeing-Stearman Model A75N1 (PT17) biplane miniature is constructed from balsa wood, resin, and metal, hand-painted red, and inset with a cast foam pilot miniature of Casse. While Casse's biplane does not include a missile, a resin missile painted grey and silver-colour is attached at the side of this model with twine, likely as a production reference to Casse's scenes in an Air Force jet. This model exhibits a broken wheel, aileron, left side panel exposing the wooden interior, cracking plastic material, and cracking foam material on the figurine. Dimensions: 137.25 cm x 165.25 cm x 53.5 cm (54" x 65" x 21")

Special shipping required; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: GBP 5000 - 10000 US
