<b>(ASTRONAUTS), RICK HUSBAND, Pilot of the ill-fated Columbia who, along with the rest of this Discovery Crew, signed these 'Space Discovery' stamps on the day of that missionÕs return to Earth.</b>
Block of Sixteen US stamps entitled 'Space Discovery' Signed, in-person, on the day of STS-96Õs return to Ellington Field (June 6, 1999), as follows: pilot RICK HUSBAND, commander Kent Rominger, spacewalkers Tammy Jernigan and Daniel Barry, flight engineer Ellen Ochoa, cosmonaut Valery Tokarev and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Julie Payette., 6' x 7.5'. This international crew of seven became the first visitors to the International Space Station in May, 1999. Upon their return to Earth, they signed this block of stamps depicting various aspects of space travel. It was Rick HusbandÕs first, and only successfully completed, flight.
