Cast against mesas and adobe dwellings, this group of Mexican vaqueros present an interesting quandary as to their exact function within Buffalo Bill’s Wild West. Though quite obviously skilled performers, it is unclear whether or not they were utilized for their abilities or whether the abilities were utilized to provide comic relief. Notice that the gaucho breaking the bucking bronco is in the process of being tripped up by his compatriot’s lasso, who really should be more concerned with the raging bull bearing down on him more than indulging in shenanigans. But as no information could be uncovered regarding this group, we are left to form our own opinion with the assistance of this remarkable poster.
