HELLBOY (2004) - Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) Bloodied Costume with Good Samaritan Pistol

Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) bloodied costume with a Good Samaritan pistol from Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy. A demon summoned to Earth as an infant, Hellboy carried his signature firearm, the Good Samaritan, while he investigated paranormal activity for the B.P.R.D.

Del Toro brought his own unique vision to the film adaptation of Mike Mignola's comic book. To many, Perlman, a frequent collaborator of Del Toro's, became synonymous with the role of Hellboy after playing him in the first film, its sequel, two animated features, two animated shorts, and a video game.

Created by effects company Spectral Motion, this display consists of hand-painted foam Hellboy appliances with hand-laid hair, acrylic teeth and acrylic eyes, and a rubber tail mounted to a custom-made mannequin body display and dressed with a bloodied brown leather trench coat, a cotton shirt, a leather fingerless glove, a leather belt with metal hardware, a leather holster, leather pants, and steel-toe leather boots with rubber soles. Also included is a static resin Good Samaritan gun with a leather tassel and additional foam latex appliances. The display is attached to a foam base painted to resemble stone. This display was intentionally distressed to look bloodied and well-worn. This lot exhibits a buildup of grime and foam fragility with cracking and flaked paint. Dimensions: 101.75 cm x 61 cm x 218.5 cm (40" x 24" x 86")

Special shipping required; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.
