HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION (2002) - Michael Myers' (Brad Loree) Burnt Mask

Michael Myers' (Brad Loree) burnt mask from Rick Rosenthal's slasher sequel Halloween: Resurrection. In the film's final scene, a coroner unzipped Myers' body bag, revealing his burnt, melted mask, before the killer's eyes suddenly opened. In the alternative "Axe" ending, Myers' burnt mask was revealed to Sara (Bianca Kajlich) and Freddie (Busta Rhymes) as he lay seemingly dead on a gurney outside the burned-down house.

The slip latex mask is painted white and features intentional distressing. There are holes in the chin and under the left eye, and latex hand-painted in reds, greens and browns is applied across the back of the head, on the crown and over the eyes to create the effect of melting. The mask is presented on a black hand-painted foam bust, and comes with a certificate of authenticity from special make-up effects creator Gary J Tunnicliffe. Dimensions: 27 cm x 40 cm x 35 cm (10 3/4" x 15 3/4" x 13 3/4")

Estimate: GBP 20000 - 40000 M
